No, you do not need to keep the platform open to run your strategy. However, you need to login to your FOREX.com account through Capitalise.ai at least one time every 20 days to ensure your strategy continues to run without interruption.

The platform watches the market around the clock, even when you can’t, to ensure your trades are executed as soon as the conditions you specified are met. Yes, you can close your positions at anytime from your strategy within Capitalise.ai or via any FOREX.com platform.

Capitalise.ai will continue to show the strategy running until the strategy exit would have triggered or if you manually stop the strategy on Capitalise.ai.

Either your position was closed manually by you via the FOREX.com platform or your account fell below the minimum margin requirement.

If you ran a strategy and it was manually closed on the FOREX.com platforms, the strategy cannot be ran again. In this instance, you can "clone" the strategy, offer it a different name and run it again via the Capitalise.ai portal.
